There is this guy I've been seeing for over a year now. We are not in a real relationship basically just friends with benifits. Do you think it's to late to demand more out of him since things have been this way for so long? We do got out together to movies, and dinner and things so it's not always just sex.

Yup, it's wrong to change the rules now. You helped set this pattern in motion and now you want to change horses in mid-stream? Sorry, it won't work. You'll probably lose him as a friend. He's probaby seeing someone else too, since you two are just FWB, so you'd be asking him to change his current way of life. I mean, look at the way you phrased it: "DEMAND more out of him". When you start demanding things in a casual relationship like this, you're pretty much going to kill it.
I supposed you could ask him if he ever thought about you two becoming a real boyfriend/girlfriend. Make it seem like a casual question, not an ultimatium. But be prepared..

It's too late to turn your FWB into anything more. You have to be up front with yourself and the guy right from the get go. If you allow yourself to be a booty call and you're ok with that, than great, everybody's happy, but you can't change the rules so far into the game. Find someone different and let him know right from the start you are interested in a real relationship--and that starts by not giving it up right away.

I think that if it was going to be something more, it would have materialized by now. The problem with a friend with benefits relationship is that usually one person develops more feelings for the other. You can try to talk to him about it and see where it goes from there.

yep, you been doing this for a year and now you wanna change it? Well, see if he wants to go to the next level by asking him. Demanding him, well you'll prob end whatever relationship you have. You might be surprised, he may want more out of it too.

just ask him and see what he says. maybe he thinks you're the one who wants to keep things the way they are. perhaps it will work out, otherwise you'll need to figure out if you're getting what you want from this relationship and whether or not to move on.

Well yeah of course we all would want more, this has never come up? well yes i would take this to him and see what his responce is, if it is yes then go for it, if it is no, then he doesn't respect you, nor does he respect women. a few mths i can see, a year! come on now, Pig!!!
