You can't burn fat from specific areas, you need to just lower overall body fat. Any cardio is good but you have to keep your heart rate up for 20 minutes before you start burning fat.

All exercise is. The problem, is that if you have stomach fat, you can't just decide you want to lose fat there alone. When you burn fat, your body burns it from all over your body at once. There is no such thing as spot reduction. Eat healthy, do a bit of cardio, and light weights, which will spike your metabolism like you wouldnt believe.

Well you need to work on your diet first, it's 70% of the results. You can do all the sit-ups you want, but if you don't eat right, it's pointless. You can follow the diet in "body for life" and do cardio 3 times a week. You don't have to do it for a long tme, 20-30 session at the most. Also you need to figure what your "target heart rate" is. Look it up on the net.

No one likes situps unless they're crazy. Invest in a bottle of CLA you can get it at any vitamin shop. It specifically targets the fat around your mid section. Also, try yoga. It helps create lean muscle in your abdomin which helps to burn fat. Plus when you work out just try tightening your stomach during your excercises!

There is no way to burn fat in just one area of your body. Sit-ups or crunches will give you tight abs, but not get rid of your belly fat. You have to reduce the amount of fat you have overall, so burn more calories with cardio, and consume fewer calories.

There is no such thing as "spot reducing". If you lose 5 lbs it is from all over your body. Men and women have different trouble spots but overall losing weight in general will make your tummy smaller!
