You need help, and there is no stigma here....life sometimes comes at us harder than we can handle. There are the lucky ones who deflect those attacks better than others, and there are those who don't.
Panic attacks and depression are very real. Please seek help first from a psychologist.
May your blessing come soon, dear one.

If the depression is causing the unreasonable fears then you should have the depression treated. If the primary problem is a phobic or another anxiety disorder then the depression may be secondary. Treating the anxiety disorder may alleviate the depression. By "unreasonable fears" I don't know if you mean phobias or paranoid delusions. Paranoia and delusions can accompany a severe depression.

Look in the phone book, under mental health counselors for your city. You need to be evaluated for depression and anxiety. If the doctor has something to go on, she/he will prescribe medicine such as Paxil and Doxepin. And stay away from caffeinated drinks will help.

I have the same problems. I hear cognitive behavioral therapy works well, as does acupuncture and some herbal remedies. If you can't take or don't want to take meds see a Chinese herbalist. I have bad days and on better days I try to exercise and eat well.
