Religious people typically are hypocrites(hence me being Atheist). I have seen it many times, they favor their other children and grand children and have no issue showing it. Don't let them bother you. You don't need them. If I were you, I would avoid them as much as possible. By you letting them know you care, they keep the upper hand. Let them have to ask YOU to see the kids. Good Luck!

It sounds like you have my in-laws lol except for the religious part. They act the exact same way. We finally moved away from them, about an hour, and I just stay away from them as much as possible. I would just go about my business and not include them. I'm sure you live close by and have to include them in parties and such, but you don't have to inform them of everything that goes on. It's just easier on me that way. It hurts when they don't take their grand kids as much as they should. Mine promised us all summer that they wanted to take the girls for a week, and here it is, the start of school, and they haven't even come by once, or given the girl's any acknowledgment on their birthdays. I recently found out that they had taken all the other grand kids school shopping and bought all kinds of stuff for them, so although I consider myself to be a really nice person, as far as I'm concerned, they can kiss my ***!!!!

You can do what I do and stay as far away from them as possible if your husband is not willing to see how they are putting a strain on your marriage and your emotional well-being. My mother in law blames me for everything.
I have five kids and even when we had fewer children she never babysat for us even though she babysat for his brother and sister's kids...
She decided she hated me after she found out I suffered from postpartum depression. She said I was selfish and I only cared about myself...My mother-in-law spreads gossip throughout the entire family to make me look bad so I cannot even defend myself because everyone just believes her no matter what. She throws her money around and people suck up to her yet she has watched us run out of heating oil and scrape to make ends meet to buy groceries while they are buying brand new cars and computers. One year she gave my daughter a $10 plastic tea set and the same day gave my husband's niece for her birthday a $2000 computer system....
They think I am brainwashing my husband against them as well as the children when in reality it is the way they treat our family that has affected how they feel about them....
My inlaws are the biggest hypocrits because they criticize how others spend money yet they spend money very frivolously....
It all finally came down to our family having to become estranged from our parents because my husband was tired of being in the middle of things and once he saw how his mother was mistreating me, he no longer wanted to deal with her at all.....Good luck with your situation. I can truly empathize....The last thing my mother-in-law emailed me was to "Go to Hell and to never come back"....well as long as she's not there I think I would rather be there!!!! LOL

You sound very imature. The world does not revolve around you. I would gather they don't appreciate how you overstep your bounds and ask things of them. You don't come across as a very likable person. You feel you are entitled to things. If your husband's parents are being nice to you, it's only out of respect for their son and wanting to keep the peace so they can see their grandkids. If you want to improve relations with your in-laws, you need to take a hard look at yourself. If you can be big enough to admit you're to blame for this friction, the next step would be to approach them and apologize and then see what you can do for them instead of vice versa.

oh.. I understand, I am was and I still in the same situation as you. My mother in law hatesme. she never congratulaitd us when we got engaged, we had to baged her to go to our weeding, anyways, she was always mean to me,and maniputale the rest of my husband's family to not be nice to me and that make me feel worse , my husband try to fix things but she did'nt change, I used to get very upset, and cry alot, because the way she makeme feel so unwellcome in her family. coments , accions, everything So my husband and I decided to move to another estate in another city, and we send her a letter, that we wanted our space, unles she will treatme with respect , since that we havent see her, or heard from her, we had a baby is one year old and she han'st express any interest to meet the baby. we move here 2 years ago, since that, I fell much better more peacefully, so just get your own space, your husband has to standup for you, good luck.

I probably am not qualified to respond to this question in view that I have in no way considered an entire episode of CI. even with the undeniable fact that, even as i tried to observe an episode of CI it bored me, it really is probably why I in no way were given to the right. I have considered many SVU episodes and maximum are very good. they determination from being very good to in ordinary words splendid reckoning on the ever replacing solid. see you later as Olivia and Elliot are there even with the undeniable fact that, its usually going to be between the further constructive episodes.
