Good for you!
A slightly used dog is waiting for you! Check the link below.
Good luck, and Thank You for considering adoption rather than the puppy mill.

Find an English Bulldog Rescue group within driving distance of your home.

We were looking for one also up till 3 weeks ago.
We really wanted a basset hound, but couldn't find one, and didn't want one shipped. The English bull had some of the same characteristics. They have a Bull dog Rescue League.
I found it by googling.
We found our Basset - right here in Mass.
Good luck!! They are great dogs - and very loyal

Go to the Bulldog Club of America website and look into their rescue program.

petfinder.com. But please take into consideration the cost of owning an English Bulldog. You will probably be looking at an average of $1,000 a year (if not more) in vet bills alone, and this is before the big health problems kick in.

FYI if you get one be sure to put a few thousand dollars in an account for future vet bills. This breed comes with a huge set of health problems. i.e. skin, eyes, heart, etc.. There body has too much mass. Their skin has too many wrinkles. Just first hand experience here.

I'd check my local pound or SPCA
