he never calls me. im always the one to call him and set up plans and stuff. he likes me but i don't know what his deal is. whenever hes with me he acts fine and well not shy but i don't know. i am going to call and see if he has an instant messenger to make things easier but what if he doesnt then what should i say/do??

Well, how long do you know this guy? Does he know he is your boyfriend? Being shy has nothing to do with picking up the telephone and calling your girlfriend. Especially when you say he doesn't seem shy when you are together. Somethings wrong with this picture. I would look further into it, make sure there isn't another female in the picture.

He has to make some attempt to make the relationship work. If you're the only one doing anything then he probably doesn't care too much. I'm sorry to say that. Tell him you're sick of doing everything. Let him know you want to see him but he has to step up. If he doesn't then move on. Good Luck!

Its funny this guy kinda sounds like me about a year ago. What my girlfriend did was just telling me anytime that i wanted to see her or needed a talk for comfort or anything else, to call her anytime. hearing this made it easier for me to call her more often. Eventually i started to become more confident.

well, if your sure hes shy and there isnt a different girl in the picture, then what you can do is just make sure your not trying to take things too fast too soon, that is always what happens in a relationship. yeah

Oh...that's not right. Shy or not, if you put 100% of the effort in this relationship, it's not worth it. Make him aware of that, and if he doesn't change.....Move on!

hmm i say you should talk to him about it. it might be akward for you but if you want things to get better just talk to him. tell him he doens't need to be shy or you don't even have to say that you could just ask why he never calls you and tell him that he should cause it would makey ou happy. just talk to him.
