Not at all. See, most of the time, especially in your teenage years, "relationships" do not last. You are still very young and in an experimental age. So 20 years from now, you will want to look fondly upon your first crush or love. First ones are very special because you will be experiencing so many exciting things for the very first time. :)

If what you're really asking is if you should wait to have sex, the answer is yes. And not just for your first real boyfriend. The time for your first sexual experience is on your wedding night, with your husband, the man you will spend the rest of your life with. The most important gift you can give him is your virginity. God didn't give us sex to be had casually with many partners over the years. Yes, he gave us sexual desire that kicks in long before we are married. He wants us to learn restraint. Sexual desire is certainly part of the attraction when we are dating as teens and adults. You want to be sexually attracted to your husband-to-be. You may think you are ready for the responsibilities of having sex at 16, but you are not. And don't give into a boy or man who says "If you love me, you will ..." That isn't love. He just wants sex. And many boys and men will dump you after you have sex with them. You are a beautiful, special girl with much to do and see before you settle down. Please don't give this most precious gift away so easily. Wait for that special man, your husband and your wedding night. God bless!

it's not stupid. you don't have to rush these things if you don't want to. wait until you feel comfortable but know that there is no such thing as true love. relationships take work. if your looking for the perfect guy, he may not come. but a great guy could be just around the corner. just wait until you feel comfortable. it's all good.
