He might be a bad person but he might be a great guy, also. If I were you, I'd try to get to know him better as a friend first. If you enjoy spending time with him and you feel he isn't the type of a guy who would break your heart then give him a chance. Life is too short, honey, so take any chance of happiness you might have. Good luck!

How did you meet him? If your gut you feel like your meeting was kinda shady, listen to your gut. However, people say that everyone is a stranger before you get to know them. There are ways of getting to know someone with fearing that you'll "hook up." Talk him through e-mail, then on phone, then in public places, etc. If you feel like he's worth taking a chance, then do it.

How do you know he wants to get with you but you dont know anything about him? Ask whoever told you he wants to get with you to tell you about him. And if he's friends with your friends, sure, why not get to know him?
