Although I didn't not answer your previous question, until I saw this most current post. I am so happy you told your mother. Don't let anybody tell you that you will regret having an abortion. I won't lie to you and tell you it is easy, because it isn't. It is a tough decision to make at any age. I just hope that you are at peace with your decision whatever you decide. If you believe that getting an abortion is what's best for you or giving the baby up for adoption is the solution or keeping the baby is what you want to do, do it. As long as you have a good support system - it sounds like you do - follow your heart.

I wish you the best and you should be proud of yourself for seeking advice and being smart enough to listen.

There are so many people who would DIE to have a child, literally die. And here you are killing one. It is murder, period. I went with my sister when she had hers, (reason being that the child would not make it through the first trimester), and she has never gotten over the sound that it made when the "procedure" was done, and every time she looks at a child, she cries thinking of what she done to an innocent angel.
I also commend you for telling your mom, but there are so many more options available out there. You will never forgive yourself if you do this, and if you can, you really need to read the Bible and question your morals. Seriously.

When I was in high school, I got pregnant by a guy 19 years older than me. Although I was 18 at the time, I was not ready to have a child. I consider abortion myself. I looked into and it horrified me. I changed my views drastically. I now have a wonderful little boy, a husband who loves me, and a wonderful home. I did not make this decision based on religious views, for I do not go to church. I can not imagine my life with out my son. I answered your other question about you keeping it, and I want to say how happy that made me. You looking in to adoption is great. Here is my e mail. If you would like, I can talk to my husband, for although we can have children, we have talked about adoption. If you like it, and if he likes it, I would like you to consider me. We were going to try for another one in two months, but this seems a great idea to me. Please email me at gin_jackson@yahoo.com. I would love to hear from you. It would be open, which means we will have you fro visits and send pictures, but please consider it. Thank you so much.

Please dont get an abortion! You will never ever forgive yourself!! I went through it! The noise you hear the sound it make the people yelling and screaming at you as you walk into the abortion clinic it is the worst thing you can do!!! Plus my body never healed I have tons of scar tissue now and yes I have a child and one more on the way. My births are a lot harder because of the scar tissue and it is harder to get pregnant. You will never forgive yourself if you do this. i still think about it I was 18 when I did it I am now 26 and still have nightmares of the sound it made!!! Give the baby up and then learn from your mistakes. There are a ton of people out there that want a child and cant have one!! Give them a chance to have that Little growing baby inside you a chance! Plus you could also keep it and learn with your child. At just 6 weeks they are already living!!! The heart is beating. Please dont do this listen to me I am not giving you a line of bull it is a terrible thing to go through!!!

i dont agree with you decision my mom had my sister when she was 14 and she grew up and worked her but off to give us everything but i commend you for knowing that you are not mature enough to raise a child and you do have your whole life ahead of you i wish you would would give someone who cant have a child the oppurtunity to love yours and give him or her everything the embarssment of going to school pregnant i would imagine is nothing compared to the guilt of killing your own child but its your choice to make and i imagine your mom is makeing this decision for you anyway just in the future know that ABORTION IS NOT BIRTH CONTROL. please learn from this and make better choices next tim.

aside from the fact that i still stand by abortion as a totally last resort, i congratulate you in talking to your mother. that in itself is one of the world's hardest things to do. so, hopefully you will have learned by your mistakes. Good Luck. and remember, your mom is always there for you.
