Sounds like ur nervous, "I was thinking and wondering........
Isnt thinking and wondering the same thing? Listen, asking a girl out isnt hard, just go talk to her very casually, normal conversation, u waiting for someone?, hey u on ur way home, anything to keep her talking, then ask her if u can call her sometime, dont sound rehearsed! Or if u wanna skip all that, ask her has she ever been to X restaurant, or has she seen X movie, if not would she like to come with u sometime and just hang out. Piece of cake. i think any girl would be so lucky for a guy to go through all this trouble to just know how to ask them out properly, so obviously ur a great catch, if she doesnt go for it, her lost, move on to the next lucky lady.

I think it's ok...the only part I don't like is the part where you say "if it works good then great and if it doesnt go so well hey..." Personally if I was being asked out I wouldn't really want a guy to say that to me. I dunno it just sounds too...negative or something. I think you have the right idea though...how about something like this...

hey, i was thinking and i was wondering if you wanted to go out... you know, i want to because I like you alot and I think you're an amazing girl and your really fun to talk to and i'd really like to get to know you better."
or something like that...I would suggest you put it in your own words though...Like I wouldn't really like it if my BF asked me out and I found out he was told what to say...to me that would be too shallow...Good Luck!! and I hope it works out!!!!

(I agree with "funkygurll's" advice!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Just plainly ask the girl out. What you are saying is way too long winded.. Just say "Hey wondering if you like to go out sometime". If she says not interested say "Hey is cool" smile at her and just talk like nothing happened.

id say something more like this if i was you...
"hey i was thinking that if you wernt doing any thing and your with nobody... do you want to go out. and if not thats fine but i still want to be your frend bcuz your and amazing girl and your really fun to talk to and hang out with and i dont want to ruin that"

you had it mostly but it kinda sounded that you were rambling a little. im sure wat i rote was to but that was just an idea.

hope it goes well

That sounds a bit wordy to me. Try shortening it to something like: "Hey, would you like to go out sometime?" If she says no, then tell her "Let's still be friends", but if she says yes, then dont leave it at that. Say, "Well, how's Saturday". Then you have a yes and a time.

While your line was good, a standard line is no good for me. I'm usually better at asking people out based on the situation. Like if you've been under stress, you can ask "Whew ... wanna get a drink or something?"

If if its cold or late: coffee (this is the most suitable since most people love it and its casual).
