No 5 years at that age is not that big of a difference. the 20 year old is out of high school and has an idea of what they want to do with their life which the 25 year old also knows. You would have lots in common within 5 years and if you're looking to the future, that's not even an age difference as my husband and I are 5 years apart.

the rule when we were raising our kids were they have to be close to your age until you reach 20 then age isnt a big deal the reason is maturity come into play w/ teens

no my parents r 5 yrs apart to and age doesnt really matter if u really like the person u r dating. its all up to how u feel about the age difference.

it really depends on maturity levels on both ends maybe the two will even eachother out
