In brief:

I deleted a partition and I want to recover it, but need some recommendations on what program will do the job.

Long Explanation, in case this helps clarify anything:

My computer had 3 drives - C:, D: and E:

C: was the system drive. D: had a bunch of rubbish on it which I wanted to wipe. E: was used to store files.

One day I decided to reinstall Windows, and it came to the point where you select which partition you want to install it on. I deleted C: and what I thought was D:. In fact it turned out I deleted the C: and the E:

I then reformatted only C: and installed Windows. Then I realised my mistake and the E: hasn't been touched since.

It should therefore be recoverable, since no data has been written to the E: it hasn't been formatted - all that has happened is I have deleted the partition.

If u haven't deleted and FORMATTED the partion i think Partition magic should do the trick , but sometimes if u delete partition the physical address of the data stored is irrecoverable , hope u get wht u need , leeme knw
