It all depends what species of fish you're aiming to catch + the conditions you're fishing in......... worms are always a good all-round freshwater bait no matter what your trying to catch anywhere in the world (Especially if you cut the end off to create a scent trail).

well shrimp is for salt water fishing for trout,redfish, snook etc...worms would be best for freshwater panfish like bluegill, shellcrackers, perch etc... and minnows would work also in freshwater for speckled perch and small bass. so it will depend on what you want to fish for.

Shrimp and cutbaits are best for saltwater bay fishing. Minnows and worms are best for freshwater/lake fishing.

However, you can use shrimp for freshwater catfish.

Shrimp works great for Cats...it's expensive bait, but it works
Minnos will catch everything a pond, lake river...ect.
Worms will cartch anything in a pond, lake, river...ect

Minnows work great for crappie, plastic worms are great for bass. I like using shad and crawfish for catfish.

2 hooks about a ft. apart with minnows on it using a slip bobber will get u crappie all day long

I use shrimp,
i just leave it out there and fish will come.
I have cuaght snook,redfish and trout just doing that!
