Religion is not the most important thing. Having Faith in God is. That means to trust & obey God. The works done because of faith (trust & obey God), assurance (hope) & love (unconditional) are everlasting.
Religion is just the rules people have written based on a belief that produce order in the house. Many of the religious acts are dead works. Works without faith are dead.
Let go of religion & let God in your life.

i imagine the biggest high quality of a presidential candidate is they have a good mind and a experience of justice. a good mind maximum major to appreciate all the topics which crop up and a good information of cultures of different international locations is needed too - like someone with a international View not purely their own united states of america's view. i don't believe of religion concerns see you later as he/she is a questioning individual. Public expectations like gay marriage, abortion etc. properly it really is continuously evolving and a President with slightly of success is likewise Open-minded about all topics. i'd ought to say re faith that i'm Agnostic at this degree and strongly position self belief in evolution of each little thing on the planet and if there's a God then he set each little thing in action in an evolutionary way.

Good point. However, religion is one thing that can remain constant, stable, and comforting in life when everything else seems to go wrong. It can help people get through rough times, and act as a guide.

I think that religion was something that calmed people in the ancient times. If someone came around and said "live a good life and after you die you'll live in paradise" and you bought it, your menial labor job wouldn't seem so bad. So, people built their lives around religion, hopefully for good afterlife. Otherwise, farming your whole life would have sucked.

People don't want to think and religion is the easiest and most effective way to accomplish that feat. And in order to continue not thinking one must fight against everyone who is thoughtful, to force them to obey or be destroyed.

We didn't. Spirituality is more important than religion. The birth of the spirit is more important than anything physical.

When someone figured out that they could control the masses with it. I.E., when the Roman Empire observed the effects of the Rebel Jesus on his followers, a lightbulb went off in their heads and the opiate of the masses was injected into our collective vein.

Define We!! You speak in absolutes... but there are no absolutes except time and change. And which religion said so?
Just another moronic question
