I drive a 2001 Neon RT and I like it more than the Caliber and I am a Dodge/Chrysler Sales Rep! I can see where the Caliber will be a better car for the masses, but I like the trunk model I have and I think I have more space and style with the trunk model.

The Caliber comes with all kinds on innovative features like a CVT tranny (Continuosly Variable Transaxle) which is constantly giving you the best power and fuel economy for the RPM range. VVT (Variable Valve Timing) where the Intake and Exhaust have their own cam shaft and can be advanced or retarded by the car to gte better gas mileage. The car also comes with a cooler bin in the glove to keep 4 bottles or cans cool, A jack in the radio for an Ipod, drivers seat height adjustment, a flaslight that is stored in the rear hatch, 17" wheels and all the standard equipment that comes with Dodges.

I think the SX 2.0 or Neon has nicer lines and in the SRT4 version is a hell of a little car! The SRT4 Caliber will be over 300 horses and will not use a CVT.

The Bang for the Buck is good on the Caliber and it has already out sold the Neon this year compared to last.

Neons were built for 10 years and 3 model changes, they finally got the thing right when they brought out the SRT4, but all good things must come to an end.
