Erythromomycin is a broad spectrum anti-biotic used for things like phayngitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, and ocaasionally pneumonia.

It works just fine. Let your doctor know if you have any stomach problems when taking it (the most common side effect). also, be sure to take the ENTIRE course of treatment, whether it's 5 days, 7, days, or even up to 10 days. Do NOT stop when you "feel better"... you must take the entire course of treatment to knock out the infection.

Erythromycin is used for many ailments also to treat acne from the inside. Take it with food because it will make your stomach hurt.

well erythromycin is a weak antibiotic especialy in pharyngitis,try to use amoxicillin unless you are allergic to penicilline then you can use metheprim..

i had pharyngitis last year and the doctor gave me antibioctics but said they dont cure it but its makes you feel a bit better it took about a week for me to feel well again.

I had it when I was in the hospital and that stuff gave me the runs wicked bad. Killed what ever was in my system but it did a number on my stomach.
