some holy shops such a britanicas prepare candles for people for specific reasons.you sometimes see these big candles in the supermarkets with pictures of jesus and and angels and prayers.I wanted to know is when they prepare these candles in the shop they use oil and say a prayer on it they tell you to write your name in it then they draw a star on it is this the devil's star [wicca] or is this the star of david is it good or bad?

I am sorry for offending anyone.I Don't know anything about wicca,I was told that wicca is a satanic religion and the devil's star represents it,I am not judging anyone ,
and did'nt mean to.I just wanted to know if this is good or not in the sense for someone that follws christianity is this another form of praying to jesus or is it a form of prayer to some other god,entity and such? Help me out I am just trying to learn.

Okay, that is it!!!!
THERE IS NO DEVIL IN WICCA!!!!! You are woefully ignorant of Wicca and I am greatly offended that you would use the term 'devil's star' in reference to is.It is a pentacle, it is a symbol far older than the Xian cross and in no way related to 'The Devil'. To answer your questions, candles are candles.They are no different from the ones you see at the dollar stores, they just look prettier.And please do yourself a favor and educate yourself.I don't care if you are 12 years old.You have no excuse for this ignorance.

Um... the devil has nothing to do with Wicca... Wiccan's don't even believe in the devil. I don't think there's anything special about these candles either.

DOESNT MATTER....THE CANDLE IS A POINT OF FOCUS...LIT FOR THE INTENTION OF THE ONE USING IT....
