No. Whether or not your agreed with or supported the invasion in the first place should be irrelevant to the decision to stay or pull out. Leaving now would be a horrible mistake. You think things are bad now, just see what happens if we leave Iraq before it becomes a stable country. The Iranians and every other radical fanatical islamist would swarm all over the place and it would make Afghanistan look like Palm Beach.

As bad as it sounds we need more troops in Iraq.
Me must secure their borders to keep the Iranian and Syrian insurgents out. Then we will have to implement some sort of mandatory weapons buy back program to disarm the civilians. This will help prevent sectarian violence, but alone it will not end it. We will need to strictly enforce the disarmament regulations.
I suggest some type of good cop bad cop. The American and UN forces will act as the heavy hand searching and seizing all the holdouts and weapons. During this process the Iraqi government will play good cop by voicing their support for Iraqi civil rights and admonishing the UN’s actions.
This will make them appear more legitimacy to their people. At the same time as this smoke screen is playing out the Iraqi government with help from the US and UN will rebuild the infrastructure all the while allowing the Iraqi government to take credit.
As the Iraqi ranks swell with military, police and security forces, we will appear to be backing down to their demands. Eventually we will be gone and they will have a strong unified government.

Why pull out now when we've done so much good work there and every day it gets so much better?
In one fell swoop, Bush and the Republicans doubled the size of Iran AND and created a new home for terrorists which has way better weather then Afghanistan. What more could we ask for?

We cant pull out now. It would leave Iraq to committ suicide. We should be out of there by 2008 at the least. Hopefully late 2007. Leaving Iraq would be abandoning what we started, and all the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the war on terrorism in Iraq would of died for nothing.

No we should not pull out. As much as people hate Bush, i think he's right about saying we should not pull out because that will give terrorist more power. We can't make them feel good about themselves, they won't be afraid of us and there will probably be another attack here in the US. We should come back when the job is done, come on people, don't give up on us. We can do it!!

No. We're too commited at this point. The situation for regular people in Iraq would worsen if our troops left.

I think we need to stop screwing around there and shi* or get off the pot. Either we send 250,000 troops there to flush every insurgent out of Baghdad and all the other cities or we need to let the Iraqi people take control of their own country and get the hell out of there ASAP. All we are over there is human targets for explosions.

It is time to go. We will lose just like Vietnam if we try and stay. No way can we win the war in Iraq.
