The boss and another employee are yelling at eachother over some email problem. Is that normal? can't they just talk about it? They are both guys or I'd mention PMS.

It's unprofessional and it creates a hostile work envoronment. If this is causing a difficult work environment for you or any other employee's it should be reported and documented to Human Resources or the Labor Board.

Never should the boss and an employee engage in yelling contests. They need to each realize what position they are in, and while the employee deserves respect, that does not entitle him to become insubordinate.

Both are at fault, and they need to find a way to engage in arguments more professionally.

It happens, but I wouldn't say it's normal. It's definitely not professional. Maybe that's the only way your coworker "get's it". Sometimes bosses have to treat employees differently because employees don't "hear" things in the same way. How do your other coworkers feel about it?

If one or the other has anger issues a yelling match can start. I had a professor who yelled when you answered wrong, which caused more yelling, which cause people to change majors

it'd depend on your actual workplace...... may be more susceptible to it in your chosen profession....... but it still isn't right
