Maybe they hibernated.
Who said the entire earth flooded? There are ancient cultures that date to Noah's time that talked about surviving a flood that came up to their mountains. It only rained 40 days which could not do anything. There are countries that get that much rain now. It says in the story that the fountains of the deep were broken up. This indicates a tremendous amount of stress. Maybe the flood was more of a great tide by something with great gravitational pull. The rain/weather and land breaking up was affects of this gravity stress. Who knows?
So maybe the flood was regional seeing the world was one land mass at the time according to Genesis. It didn't split into continents till after the flood according to the same book.
So maybe only select animals were taken.
Plant life can recover quite quickly even after a 14 month deluge.
Truth, you wont know exactly what happened. But thousands of cultures have the Noah type story. Some are much older than the Bible's version.

Why try to answer all of these questions in the natural mind? Lets look at it this way. Noah even creating the ark with no previous building experience is a miracle all in itself, so why is it so unbelievable that things wen't on as normal? Animals and Noah and his family were on the ark for 40 days and 40 nights. That, my friend, is enough time for animals to begin reproducing. Therefore there weren't only 2 of each animal anymore. Also, the Lord sent a dove with a plant in its mouth to prove that the flood was over proving that trees and plants were already beginning to grow.

To this day there is no "truth" to the ark, despite teams searching the Turkish Mountains. However, there is a really good documentary on History Channel that gives profound theories and ideas of "what" the Ark really was, and how it probably looked and more! Very interesting Film!!!! :)

What indeed did they live on whilst on the Ark. I have always believed that it was only a local flood and not everywhere. How could he have had Polar Bears on board, or Llamas or many other exotic animals. It would have taken him years and years to capture them after travelling the world to get specimens......

First of all you need to use that head of yours and think a little before you write down your questions.
Why did God the creater of everything have to resort to flooding the known world?
Now think about it before you answer. You can use your Bible to search for the answer if you would like.
Answer:
God flooded the known world to rid the known world of the offspring from the fallen angels.
Thats the answer. He, God, flooded the area known to all as the known world to get rid of the giants.
Everybody forgets, because they don't read the Word as the Word of God. They don't approach the Word with reverance nor do they understand that the Word of God is none other than Jesus Christ. God.
When you are about to read the Word, ask God for understanding and wisdom. He will dump it on you in a big way.
You are going to find out, if you take my advise, that your whole world is going to look a lot differant when you have eyes to see with.
Here is a little tidbit. On the sixth day God created both man and womb-man (woman). He, God instructed them to repopulate the world and have dominion over the animals and the fish and the birds and whatever life there lived.
Then God rested on the seventh day.
A day with the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.
On the eighth day. Here is where most people mess up. He created Adam or more rightly said ha-Adam. The man that Our Lord Jesus Christ would desend from.
How many years are we talking about here. From the sixth day creation to the eighth day creation. It is somewhere between 1 and 2 thousand years.
Lots of people and lots of animals birds and fish.
Its all there in the volume of the Book. You now have the key to unlock the Word to fill your mind and heart with knowledge.
There is only a few who gain this wisdom in their life. Don't abuse it.><>

Why haven't they find this thing yet, I mean with all this new tech.
Have you seen some of these idiots answer: God quickly created food for them, is that so hard for god to do? Then why the hell god didn't just get rid of the bad ones instead of having Noah build this thing and causing so much doubts in the first place.
Are these people for real. ssshs!

God gave all they needed. The food they ate and watched over them all. They put enough on the ark to see them through and God would not let the food run out. He would never let them do without. HE is GOD he always takes care of his own.,and they were all his own creations.

Perhaps the floodwater outside the ark was a sort of soup. After all, it was full of drowned people and animals...and leafy greens.
