Yes you can. You'll have to dye your hair again though, in the shade that you used. It seems what happened is you were applying it to your hair from the crown down. Am I right? When you do this it gives added time to the hair on top of your head while your ends aren'ts given enough time to soak up the peroxide and color. So they can actually end up a different color, like in your case. When you do it again, apply some of the color to the ends first, then crown and back to the ends for any missed spots.

The hair on top of the head is always more damaged from the sun, elements and styling than the back...making it easier to lift. Also, the hair in the back may be thicker. Pull a hair from your hair line in front and one from the nape of the neck and usually the back is thicker. Thicker hair lightens slower (takes longer for the product to penetrate).
These are things that hairdressers take into consideration when they are mixing color. And when hair dressers are applying all over color that they want even (because we have all seen people who wear their hair darker underneath on purpose), they usu sally start in the back of the head.
I am assuming that you colored your hair all over with color and have never done anything else chemically with color to it. This answer could change depending on other things you may have done to your hair in the past.
You probably can't fix it without using bleach, because color will not lift color. But if your hairdresser uses a low volume developer and watches it closely it won't hurt your hair noticeably. The other option is using a color booster (again see a hairdresser) in with a high lift tint. If you only need it lifted one shade that is another good option.
Good luck

You should go to the hairstylist and he or she should fix it for free. The lowest part of the hair is older than the upper part, so, as it's been literally hanging there for more time, it has been exposed to sun and damage, that's why it is now different. If it's the first time you've dyed your hair, be patient with the colorist, and let him or her fix it, do not touch it yourself, you'll end up with a mess in your head

I think the the bottom of your hair is darker because the sun hits on the top part of the head and that lightened your hair.

The sun can't get underneath your hair. You can use Sun In to lighten this up, but you'll have to work for it by pulling your hair up over the back of your head while laying out in the sun or tanning bed.

the reason it is like that is b-cuz the crown of your head is the one facing the sun and not the bottom of your head. don't worry. in the winter it will change back. if you want to change it you can color it either golden blonde or brunette or your own perfect color.

i did no longer even look on the photos yet do no longer do the two different colorations. i think like in case you do unaturaul colorations it would not look lovable it seems form of trashy. there are a number of trouble-free approaches to precise your self with the aid of your hair without doing overly eccentric hair. consistent with danger you will possibly desire to easily bypass blonde.
