If my mom lives to be that old...she can flick her tongue or give them the middle finger for all I care. She has lived her life and deserves to do what she pleases. Maybe she gets enjoyment out of doing it. Or maybe she knows it makes you upset or embarrassed and thats why she does it. Who cares what other people think.....She's earned the right....let her be happy

She might be on some medication that leaves her dehydrated. Take a bottle of water and let her carry it so she can keep hydrated.

just tell her gently! and don't make it SEEM like a big deal.
she's probably dehydrated, so give her some water or other fluid. i sometimes flick my tounge when i 'm thirsty too, and i'm only 13.

Wait hold on a minute, You know what thats from!!! dry month and dentures, see her family physician about mouth sprays or hard candy that would help.... good luck. I know how you feel. lol
