Is it right to put the burner of the gas stove high while cooking or low?

Is gas saved when it cooks faster on higher flame or kept on lower flame whiel cooking

it doesn't matter. what does matter is what you are cooking.

e.g., if you cook rice, you don't want to set the stove on high heat because that will just burn the rice. if you want to stir fry something, you don't want low heat and if you are boiling something, you dno't want to wait forever for the water to boil, so you set it on high heat.

It depends on what you're cooking. I usually start out cooking on high flame, and reduce it as low as possible to still keep my food cooking. With continuous high flame cooking you also run the risk of food burning if you're not monitoring it frequently.
