Well my friends and I have decided to have a "School Lunch" dinner. Being out of highschool for a while now, we decided to do something interesting that reminded us of our younger years and thought we'd have a dinner made solely of our favorite meals from the cafeteria...we came up with a few like Tacos in a bag, Chicken patties and tater tots and pizza pockets but we were wondering if anyone had some other interesting lunches they remember liking.

nachos and cheese bar, curly fries, pasta bar (curly noodles, artifical cheese, sauce, and meat sauce), cartons of milk/chocolate milk, pretzles with nacho cheese, soft serve ice cream, chicken nuggets with mashed potatos and a little soft roll (make it into a sandwich...yum)

I really liked pigs in a blanket (hot dog in a baked roll) because the mustard they used was mixed with a little mayonnaise or something. Everyone loved cinnamon rolls with frosting. I think they added French dip sandwiches my last year of taking lunch. Still love those! Oh, yeah, tater tots!

This probably won't be good for your dinner, because I always brought my own lunch from home--plus, it's really embarrassing! But my very favorite sandwich in the world was baloney on white bread (without the crusts, natch), with a couple of slices of dill pickle inside, and then the crowning touch: a handful of Fritos shoved in on top so that the sandwich crunches when you bite into it. Gaaah! I can't believe I used to eat that! :)

I REMEMBER HAVING GRILLED CHESSE, "WORLD FAMOUS" PIZZA, SLOPPY JOE'S, AND ROAST BEEF SANDWICHES. IF I WAS LUCKY WOULD GET LUNCH FOR $1.00, AND THAT WOULD BE CHILIE CHEESE FRIES AND A DRINK. I REMEMBER THE PRICE WAS 50 CENTS AND THE SODA WAS ALSO 50 CENTS.
