Cool ocean currents moving down from the north Atlantic meet with warm currents near the coast of the British Isles a generate a thermal exchange which causes rapid evaporation of sea water which condenses in heavy clouds and dumps rain across most of England.
This is also partly responsible for the foggy conditions in England.

Yes because of all the scientific reasons listed above but for a person like me who likes cold weather it's great. And we are used to it so when we do have a really hot day everyone rushes outside and appreciates it!.

Its rainy because it's England and we love it...it's not a problem for us who are used to it, so why is it such a problem for you? you dont live here, so get over it...we English love our Weather, well i do any way, especially when the sun shines after the rain sometimes, there's a lovely fresh smell in the air, so dont diss English weather, there's nothing like it.

Because the weather comes from the west and in that direction lies 3,000 miles of Atlantic.
