I was awtchina movie and they had a mechanical Abraham Lincoln that was to recite the Emancipation Proclomation but it got stuck and kept saying "Four Score and seven years ago" It's stuck in my head. I'd found out what it meant before but I forgot, can anyone help me?

It was the gettysburg adress, not the emancipation proclomation.
4*20 + 7 = 87 years
1863 (year of gettysburg address) - 1776 (founding of the U.S.) = 87

20x4=80
Seven years is just seven years:
7
So eighty plus seven:
80+7=87
The Gettysburg Address was written in 1863, therefore four score and seven years ago would have been 1776, which is when the U.S.A was founded.
