Dunno...."Follow me and I will make you fisher of men"....sounds a little homoerotic to me.

While the family was created by God as the ideal for the human community, some can choose to not be "weighed down" by family attachments in order to focus more closely on serving God. Jesus certainly was a sexual being in the same way that all humans are, but He believed that marrying and raising a family would distract Him from His mission. Certainly that doesn't require all Christians to be celibate; then where would we be? After all, didn't Jesus also say, "Greater things than I have done you will do." That doesn't mean the same things.
Who's saying Jesus didn't model what a healthy, happy family should be like? With His human mother Mary, father Joseph, and His half-brothers and sisters, and with God His Father, where in the Bible can you point to when He didn't show them respect, even when He disagreed with them? ("Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me", etc.)

Jesus was sent to do the will of his father, to teach people about God's kingdom and give his life in exchange for their eventual freedom from sin and death, the things Adam took away when he disobeyed God. Jesus has a mission. He wasn't going to get involved with mankind.Marriage and Family were what God gave to Humans. Why would Jesus weigh himself down with a wife and family. The Bible was written to Show us That satan is a liar that without God's help humans cannot govern themselves properly or be truly happy and at peace with eachother, And that Humans will serve God no matter what happens. It shows us that God has the right to rule since he created all things. Why would Jesus have a sexuality he was a spirit creature sent to do the will of God to preach his coming kingdom. There are examples in the scriptures about family live. Was Jesus' Commison not more important than a mundane thing like having a family? That wasnt the priority, he kept his mission insight and he kept it the first thing in his life.

HE came to Earth to fulfill the Scriptures.
HE did just that.
If HE had a family-- then the world could have some others to worship. JAPAN and Emperor worship is a good example.
THE SECRET OF CHRISTIANITY !
1 GOD became a man !
2 HE was perfect in all ways !
3 HE was seen by angels as HE was

The Bible is silent on matters that are not revelant to salvation or the Kingdom of God.
I'm sure Jesus had the same urges that men have. He was fully man. He was sinless, because he was/is fully God. All we know is that He never sinned. The other details are not relevant.

1) Jesus was and is Male.
2) Does his sexual prefference or the fact that he never married/ had children really matter? He was on a mission from birth, he did it the way he was suppose to.
I'm glad the Bible doesn't go into Jesus everyday life, it's not my business:)

You would have to ask the Catholic Church.
There were writings that suggested that Jesus was married or at least had a normal relationship with Mary Magdaline (sp?).
The Church in Rome acted to consolidate their positions on Jesus and stomp out other voices.

In the bible Jesus does say that he abstains from sex, I assume so he can devote himself 100% to God. It was his destiny to die for us why would he get married and leave behind a wife and children? Gods will for his life was and is fulfilled What about yours? He is married to the church and his followers and it is a perfect example of what marriage should be. He loves us, The bible says Men should love their wives as Jesus loves the church giving his whole self for it. And wives shall submit to their husbands even as to God!! God Bless!!

Because Jesus' bride is the Church (all believers in Christ Jesus). If Jesus had married while He was on earth, when it comes time for Him to marry the Church, as described in Revelation, He would be committing bigamy, which violates the Law. Since Jesus was without sin, this is not possible. Therefore, He remained unmarried and chaste, awaiting His future bride.

If i write ur biography will i touch on ur sexuality? ill assume it. He lived a very open life, nothing hidden from the public gaze. Even if he married Magdalene it was in everyones know. More than that he knew he was doomed to be condemned to die.

Jesus was probably married, but books that chronicle his married life were lost or destroyed (depends on who you ask, I figure lost is more likely).
At any rate, with regards to his sexuality: Odds are Jesus was straight. Only about 5-7 percent of guys are gay, and I would presume that the odds were the same back then. So you'd have to have 9 straight Jesuses before you'd find one gay one, if you follow straight probability.
