Exactly. If He were so insignificant or not divine he would be just another fable. How can one man insight so much hate and love over 2000 years if he wasn't the Son of God????? You are so right. It is so simple but so right.

Yes, we still study Hitler and those like him. But Jesus is LOVED and worshipped. Jesus is still capturing hearts and minds. Hitler is a man in a history book that impacted the world during a time. Sure his impact has marked history like many others. The Wright brothers changed history. Jesus impacts onn a daily basis. Jesus is the center of debate and always current. He surpasses time.

Because His name is Jesus, the name above all names and their will be no end to the increase of His Kingdom. You can tell the size of a boat or ship even if you never actually saw it, you can still tell by the wake it leaves in the water. The wake Jesus left behind Him in this world is still growing every day.

Why?

Because that son of a poor carpenter was the Jewish Messiah, and the Son of God. He was their King, promoting the Kingdom of God. He told them how to pray talking about how "thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven", and he was there to bring it in on earth, as their king. But, Israel instead crucified him in disbelief, leaving only a "little flock" of believers who truly followed Christ, with the apostles during this time.

"Fear Not, Little Flock...." he says to them, while to Israel he calls them "Generation of Vipers" and "Faithless Generation", etc. He was there to bring in the prophecied kingdom, and it all failed because of Israel's disbelief.

God's plan since the dawn of time was to use that crucifixion as his opportunity to die the entire world's sin debt, ending all emnity between us and God, and reconciling us, once, and for all.

Only God's blood could be seen as a perfect sacrifice, shed once, for all. That's why we sit today, speaking of that son of a poor jewish carpenter, and why some to this very minute still refuse to put their faith in his blood. It's so simple a 3 year old with severe brain damage could believe and be saved forever, yet the "very wise" and "all knowing" just keep sinking further and further into the quicksand, leading them to hell.

JP: Jesus Christ didn't Screw up the World, Ignorant power hungry fascists did it all in his name. Same as the Ignorant Power hungry Fascists are doing to Mohamed.. Christ Can't be held responsible for the corruption of faith. That is the purview of the Accuser: Satan, Lucifer the Angel of Light, who fell to darkness

Jesus is the Son of God, begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Saint Joseph is the "Foster Father" of Jesus during His time here on earth. Jesus is also God..Fully human and Fully Divine.

so what if he is the son of a carpentor. why dont u accept him? guess ur ego is on ur way.

but i know that people like u will not have a problem with a son of carpentor becoming the President of United Staes Of America. wondering who it is? ABRAHAM LINCOLN.

plz for the sake of ur Lord, do not try to mock or bad mouth a prophet sent down for mankind. he was here just for us, try realising and respecting that. he was chosen by God and was sent to preach the God's word.

these people (1,24,000 prophets-pbut) have spent their lives just for people like u and me. they were selfless, so that we may not comit sins thus leading astray from God's straight path. keep this in mind.

Because he is the Son of God.

Because he is divine.

Because try as they might, no one can fully "explain away" Jesus in any way that is satisfactory to them, and so they continue to nip and bite, hoping somehow, some way, to discredit him.

Rarely stopping to ask themselves, "Why am I trying to discredit the son of a carpenter who was born 2,006 years ago?"

Never stopping to ask, "Why is this particular son of a carpenter impossible to discredit?"

Jesus, the Son of God - I agree. Joseph married Mary, but was not the true father of Jesus.
