Yes, I do believe that the microchip will be the mark of the beast. Technology is advancing toward a cashless society and the government is now thinking that if they can keep track of people and know what they are doing and thinking it will make it easier to track down terrorists. Right now the microchip is being implanted in pets to keep track of them if they get lost, it is being used in old people and patients to keep from wandering and to access medical records in case of an emergency. They are also starting to implant them into infants to keep track of children and people. Right now the microchip is voluntary and still somewhat in the experimental stage. I think that the chip is going to be used as the mark of the beast someday. The chip does leave a mark in your hand and it is something that could be required to be used to buy, sell and trade. There is thoughts and talk of someday making the chip mandatory. The bible states that the mark of the beast will be in the hand or the forehead. The chip is being implanted in the top of the hand. The bible also states that the mark of the beast is mandatory for survival in the last days. What if they do decide to go through and make this chip a way to pay for goods and services to survive and you have to have this mark to buy a cheeseburger from Mcdonalds? Remember that the mark of the beast is not just for survival it is also mans way of saying that they are rejecting God and worshiping the devil. The rise of the antichrist is to come and make the mark of the beast mandatory. If you refuse the mark of the beast you will die. The rapture of the church is supposed to happen before the antichrist enters the scene. So , we shouldn't even be here to see all of this happen here on earth. I believe that the microchip is going to be what the government needs to believe that they can solve their problems with terrorism. You might be suprised to see how far we have come in such a short time and scared to see how close we are to the rapture and the rise of the antichrist and the tribulation period.

Sure, they'll claim it's for our own good and use it to keep track of our relationships, political dispositions, medical histories and shopping habits. But don't worry, it'll take them awhile to break down civil society. It's something our grandchildren and great grandchildren will have to deal with.

That would be one improvement over modern humans, but I don't see it happening. Technology improves too rapidly. By the time everyone got their implant, they would be obsolete. It's more convenient to keep identification outside your skin.

of course-- do you know how much easier it would be for the government to keep track of people if they could just get people to go for it? So the real question is, how are they going to present it, what catastrophe are they going to devise, so that they can convince people that this needs to happen? I doubt it will be difficult for them to make it happen.

Yes. This is what will be referred to as the mark of the beast. The antichrist will require it to buy or sell anything. It will be his way of controlling money and it will happen after the rapture.

nope, not as long as we don't have a way to totally shield electronics from radiation, magnetic fields, etc. And, I really don't think people will want to have something inserted into them, surgically.
