i think celebitsy is ok , why does ppl think your gay or your lieing if you say your a celebit ? does a celebit have to be a virgin?

I am not a celibate.
Celibacy is perfectly okay.
I don't know why people think you are gay or lying if you say you are celibate. Because people think things?
A celibate does not have to be a virgin. One can choose celibacy at any point in one's life. But after choosing celibacy, one must remain celibate in order to remain a celibate.

I'm not a virgin and i'm not religious, but i've been celebit for the last 14 months just because I decided to be.

Celibate is one who is unmarried, by definition, its use to mean "abstaining from sexual intercourse" is a 20th-century development. But the new sense of the word seems to have displaced the old, and the use of celibate to mean "unmarried" is now almost sure to invite misinterpretation in other than narrowly ecclesiastical contexts.
So no, I am not a Celibate (happily married for 6 years)

There's nothing wrong with being celibate, it's your own choice. You don't have to be a virgin to be celibate, you could have had sex and then decided to not 'do the deed' anymore, or for some period of time, therefore making you celibate.

Got me. I'm a virgin, and even my own parents think I'm gay. Or at least, they fear it. As I say, I'm fine by myself. Stupid people shouldn't breed, and as nearly everyone I've met IS stupid, I certainly don't want to breed with them.
