what haircut should i get? i'm a brunette w/naturally curly/wavy hair.?

i would like somethin a little choppy and medium length.i have a "square" face and big, brown eyes. my face is dotted w/ freckles. help would be huge ly appreciated along w/ photos or links to photos.thnx a bundle

I have long naturally curly dark brown hair too, and i find it hard to get a proper hair cut,,,it depends on what kind of curly hair yours is. Is it frizzy, or do you find the shorter you go the more curly and poofy it goes. I find if i keep long layers in mine, then i can do my hair up in different styles, or keep it down and put one side up, Have you tried doing a search on the internet to see if you can find styles??? I am sure you have, but just a suggestion..Hope that helped

I am also a brunette with naturally curly hair.If you have ever watched sex and the city the haircut Sarah Jessica Parker gets when she cuts it real short below her ears is supercute and she has naturally curly hair too.It should be easier if you want to straighten it as well.

Go to a stylist.....look at pictures and let them help you with the right style. I also have naturally curly hair and I like something that I can let dry naturally. It works for me.

Oh dear, your treading on some dangerous ground with that one. Curly hair and hair cuts are a tough one because if you straighten your hair to cut it and it curls back up it ends up too short. Then if you cut it while its curly, and it flattens out, it may not look right. Seek professional opinion. May I suggest Mastercuts, they were able to handle my tedious curls like...masters!

layered short at back ..just to the base of your neck, not too short..(flick it upwards, the natural wave will make it stay put...go WITH your hair, not against it)
have sides short, just over your ears, keep fringe soft and long enough to push behind your ear, or just above eyebrows...

your hair sounds like mine, this style works best for me, so easy cos the natural waves and curls make it seem like i took ages, but it just falls into place..

get a razor cut no dont shave uer head it means the stylist will use razors for shaping the ends of uer hair and some of uer layers and than she'll probably cut it wth reg scissors .

if you have blonde hair that will naturally get bleached by the sun in the summer. There was this guy in my class who also had golden blonde hair that has been a medium brown near the bottom part. When he came back to college after summer vacation, it was nearly platinum blonde!
