Who is it that thinks Toney could beat Lewis they must be crazy, this would be a total mismatch an absolute demolition job by Lewis, Toney was a great Middleweight in the 90s but his venture into the Heavyweight division is just down to Laziness he cant be bothered to take the weight of anymore, He does however have great defensive skills which allow him to survive in this mediocre division at the moment. If Lewis came back I think Toney would retire straight away he wouldn't want any part of that fight, Mainly because Lennox would be at his natural fighting weight and Toney isn't.

Are you SERIOUS??? Look James Toney just get rid of his name altogether but this Lennox Lewis thing... OMG! Lennox Lewis was a master strategist and that helped him along through his boxing career. As far as a great fighter - where are people GETTING this from?! He may have been the best to come from England but to equate that dude with the likes of Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Muhammad Ali, Leon Spinks, Larry Holmes and even the pre-boke, pre-crazy Mike Tyson is effin RIDICULOUS!

Lennox Lewis is a bonafide heavyweight and James Toney is a blown up super middleweight/light heavyweight. No contest. Lewis by TKO inside 3.

Lennox Lewis is the best boxer of his era. He could have beaten Toney badly if they fought. Toney is a bloated heavyweight. No way he could beat Lewis since Lewis is the bigger man and one of the greatest heavyweight champs of all time.

I don't think Toney has the tools to overcome Lewis' size and boxing talents and that is if the in-shape Toney turns up. If fat Toney turns up it doesn't go past 3.

Toney is not a true heaveyweight and has no power in this division. Lennox on the other hand is not a good fighter. he hand picked his opponents through out his career. Fighting the big names when they were on there downfall. Tyson was washed up and heavily medicated, Holyfield was old and went through wars, tommy morrison had aids, He ducked riddick bowe when he was at his best, Ray mercer beat him at the garden and got a bad decision. He got knocked out by to very sad fighters. Rahman and oliver Mcall. Oliver closed his eyes through a punch and knocked lewis out. That just does not happen to a great fighter. A great fighter fights through broken jaws like muhammed ali, broken hands, like arturo gatti, does not get knocked out by one punch. a great fighter is to tough to get knocked out by one punch. In my eyes lennox is a bum.

I believe that Lewis would outbox Toney and win a boring decision using his jab against a very lethargic Toney who would have trouble getting inside of the jab.
