its awful when you hear you parents fight. You must not take sides with either one of them,if your mum wants to talk that's OK,also your father. Try to understand that they might get through this bad time and work things out. This has nothing to do with you,do not forget that. Speak to your father and remind him about mums birthday and say you and he should do something special for her, this might at least get them on speaking terms. Do remember that both your parents love you very much and let them both know how much you love them,a hug now and then to both of them may help them to realise the hurt you are feeling when they fight in front of you like this. I hope everything works out for you and your parents, god bless.

It is never good for a child to interfer with their parents squabbles. They will work it out. It is your mom's birthday so buy her the present or take her out for lunch. It doesn't have to include your dad if the timing is not right. If you would like to take both of them out do so. Let your dad take care of what he wishes to do for your mom. Wish you well.

As you said, You are indian.try to make your home environment happy by arranging family dinner or lunch every day with your mom and dad. i.e. have dinner together every day. It looks like your mom is on your side, then tell your mom not to say or cry infront of your dad but just accept situation...Don't say bad words about your dad infront of your mom and tell your mom not to say any bad thing @ your dad when they fight. Also, Have your mom sit with you in evening and you both start reading religious book(In which you believe)...if Your father wants to join, let him seat but don't force him...During this or any time...don't say any bad thing about your dad...other wise he will think that your mom has told you @ him and he will fight more with your mom...There is greate web site www.baps.org - HDH pramukh swami maharaj.. who has solved lot of problems like you're having...you could even write him letter too...hope this helps...

you cant do anything about your parents arguing. that is not yur position. they are in a relationship, you are thier child. whatever they are going though, it is thier problem. if you want, you can comfort your mom when she cries, make her smile or something, but as for trying to stop thier arguing, THAT is not your concern.
