I've had strong feelings for this guy for the past year, and have always thought he was the one for me, and to be honest i still do, and still think our chance is there, if ever there is a right time. But for now i have a boyfriend, and i'm getting on with life. I still see him all the time as we hang out in the same friend group, and i still feel happy when i see him, and still sort of fixtated, but i'm not going crazy over him anymore. What are the signs that i'm getting over him...coz i'm not sure?

When you stop thinking about him......

You're not over him if you have to ask the question. Why haven't you have "the chance" to get together? How do you know he is not thinking the same things about you? If he has rejected you, then you need to move on. Time will heal all. If you have not even tried, then you need to explore your options with him and see what happens. It's not fair to keep your current boyfriend hanging on as your second choice.

It takes time to shift your perceptions of someone, but it does sound like you're in the process of moving on from him. As more time elapses, you'll find yourself less and less attracted to him, until you're indifferent as to whether he exists or not. Believe me, no matter how beautiful or hot you think he is, there will come a time when he no longer interests you.

Yes you're getting over him. You're moving on. You know when you don't think about them as much if at all on a daily basis. They might pop in your head every once in awhile but not all day everyday. Time will heal all wounds.

When you look back at this very moment in your life and say, "I asked a question on Yahoo! Ask for THAT guy?! What was I thinking?!!"

If you can go a few days without thinking of him once, safe to say you have moved on.

when you dont wish he'll send you SMS...
when your 'e not bothered about him in any single chance..
when you dont think about him before you sleep..
when you dont curse hm just because he dumped you.. (did he?)
when you wish he doesnt have a girlfriend..
and probably.. when you dont dream about reconciliation...
when you want him to be your friend.. regardless of anything..
and when your heart doesnt go out of your sternum everytime you see him.. when you lost all the butterflies in your stomach. hehe
