I am having two wisdom teeth pulled soon and they are not putting me under for the procedure. I am sure they will give me novicane but I was wondering if there was anything else I can ask the doctor to give me for during the procedure to make me more comfortable while he removes the teeth? Thanks for any help.

ask them to prescribe a xanax (I think thats what they are)or something like that. Pick it up from the pharmacy the day before. You usually take one the night before and then one before you go in.

Mullet's idea is good. Ask about a pre-op Rx for Xanax or Valium. Just a little will go a long way towards relaxing you and helping the local anesthetic work better.

not sure but ask for more novacane that is what I had to do
