Why do you think, that the timeline given on this site is correct?
Obviously many parts of it are correct, but your question is totally wrong.
Exodus on this timeline is before 13th century BC.
Malachi was written during the Persian rule around 400 BC.

Sorry to disappoint you :-)

The timeline in your link is more of an historical one as compared to the Biblical one. They are not that different, though. Your timeline has the Hebrews invading Palestine around 1300 B.C. and culminating around 600 B.C. with the Babylonian captivity. The Bible gives us another 200 years until Malachi. So that is about 900 years total. Since Abraham moved into the area about 500 years before Moses came back, you could stretch the timeline to almost 1,400 years.
