How much should I expect to spend for a normal factory 5.0 and transmission, automatic? Including getting it installed,

And what are some mods I can do to it to give it more HP?

weel i would replace the transmission with a ford t-5 manual transmission (IM SUGGESTING A MUNUAL TRANSMISSION BECAUSE AN AUTOMATIC IS WEAK AND CRATE MOTORS ARE BETTER WITH A MANUAL TRAN PLUS THERE CHEAPER THAN AUTOMATICS.)which you can buy at summit racing or jegs which will cost you about $1,300 but it can support the extra power if you want to add power and torque. i have no idea what it owuld cost labor wise because i dont know where your taking it to have dont. for the motor i would buy a ford racing crate motor from jegs you can et a good 5.0L with gt-40 heads for $3,500 THAT PUTS OUT 345 HP.

some good mods for mustangs are the trick flow manifold
cold air intake
cat back exhaust ,subframe connecter. ect

It depends on the shop, but if everything is in place removing/replacing is usually a 500-600 labor job..then again it depends on the shop. It might just be easier for you to do it yourself (with help from friends) to help.

I believe stock transmission is less then $900 and a stock longblock (not including the intakes) can go for about $1500 (depending on if it is used or not. If your thinking about modding though then why stick with the stock stuff.? Get a good (larger displacement motor) and a stronger transmission to handle any other mods?????

then buy a crate engine from ford as you can get it set up with some mods to give you more hp. also those automatics are weak, look at doing some mods to it. and why your there get a good exhaust system

If you are trying to turn a mnaul car into an automatic, that will cost way too mcuh money
all said and done, $2000 would just get you started
don't be afraid to spend $3000

A good tranny costs about 500 an hour, you can find one on the corner of 2nd and Forest.

if you go for a factory replacement engine/trransmission and installation you are probably looking at 4 to 5 thousand.
