I have dark brown/blackish hair. What color highlights should i get? I have medium skin and brown eyes .

auburn, redish-brown, and golden-blonde.
I have the same hair, eyes, and skin as you, and that's the highlights I got, they look nice.

A mix of honey color(dark golden blond) and a caramel (light red/brown) mix would look awesome.
You don't want to try to go to light, you will look brassy, and un-natural. The mix I mentioned, looks good on someone with the coloring you described. but go to the salon to have it done to get the best results.

It depends upon the color of your skin because everyone has kind of a different skin tone go talk to a GOOD cosmetologist she should be able to help you find the right highlight colors for your hair.
I am in school for cosmetology right now and it was one of the things we learned yesterday!

Well..when I went to this hair show thing. My hair wasn't naturally your color. But they dyed it that color. And then they but golden blonde highlights and I absolutley love it!

You need to get a caramel highlight- don't try it at home because dark hair turnes orange if its not done correctly.

Get reddish burgundy thin highlights. Or you could go for whitish blonde. I would go for the burgundy personally cuz it will go really nice with your skin and eyes.

you need a red hi-lite and a light brownish/blonde color(like coffee with cream ) that would look great with you med. skin tone and brown eyes.
