There's not much you can do. You told her and she said no. She values you as a friend but you're not the person she wants as a boyfriend. I know a lot of guys who fit the description, and I would never date one of them. Not because they're not great guys but because the feeling isn't there.

She can eventually change her mind, but you have to be patent, some girls really value friendship so much that they don't want to lose that. Just take her to dinner and tell her that even if things didn't work out between the two of you if you did try to become more that you guys will still remain friends and be as close as before. Good luck!

Sweety,to me that sounds like a polite way of saying"NOT GONNA HAPPEN",my best (guy) friend pulled that on me.I basically said exactly the same thing to him,but I should in honesty have said your not my lover type. Also remember best friends know just about everything about each other so maybe she knows friends is all there is.oh and by the way I still have my best guy friend after 27 years. He got over me in that amorous way,now we laugh about it

There is nothing he can do. Girls either like a guy romantically or they don't, there doesn't seem to be a magical word, or action you can take to change a woman's mind.

Either stay friends with her, or don't, depending on what feels right to you. As for romantic intentions, look elsewhere.

Not to sound jaded or anything, but that's probably her nice way of saying she's not attracted to you. Unfortunately, this probably will not change. Now you have to decide if you're willing to still be friends with her knowing this.

Don't listen to the if its meant to be speeches ok. If you want it bad enough its all on how you carry yourself. Do you have confidence....... if so nows the time to shine and tell her how feel, Don't hold back........Take Her. If that doesn't work flirt hard, get her thinking what if, keep her guessing... once you stop..... I bet you she goes out of her way to get your attention.

Tell her how you feel and listen to how she feels, perhaps after this is done you both can see eye to eye and try to find out what step two will be.
