For the love of god, dont be speaking about marriage, this is your first love so you think its going to last forever. Sorry hunny but it wont. Because you guys arent grown up enough yet, and i know that all adults say that and shi* but im 20, so im still in the same ball park area. I'm living with my recently ex girlfriend who ive been with for 2 years. So go figure. It didnt last even though we loved eachother very much.
Dont consider marriage yet, youre still young, enjoy your life!

Im 16 too.. and me and my boyfriend talk about the SAME things.. but ill tell you the truth... you have a whole life infront of you.. anything could happen. But sometimes i think its good if you discuss things like marriage with your boyfriend because it shows that you two love each other and want to spend the rest of your lifes together. However, getting married after highschool isnt a good idea.. because i had the same thought. The problem with that is after you get married you really need to give time to your new life. you dont want stuff like college to come in the way. Try getting married a year or two after college.

I would wait until after college. If you still feel the same way then get married then. People change as they get older, feelings change as well. If it's meant to be then you have nothing to worry about. What's waiting another 4 years in the big scheme of things. It's not like you won't be dating each other during the 4 years. When you're 16 and no offense but it's hard to make life decisions when you have so much more to learn.

I would relax and concentrate on school. If you two end up staying together through high school and college then you will know that it was meant to be. You are not to young to be thinking of your future but life comes at you fast once you get out of school. So I say for now concentrate on how you are going to get through college and then worry about the marriage part. You have each other anyways.

Make sure you get your educations, so you can have a long LONG happy relationship.... if you feel this strongly now when you are 16, think of how much more in love you will be after a few years =)

Maybe you should exchange promise rings before collage if you feel it is necessary..... or you can even get engaged when you go off to collage.... no one says you have to get married ASAP.... be engaged for a few years, and enjoy the best of both worlds....committed, but educated well enough to know you should wait.

Yes you and bf are to young to discuss marriage commitment at 16, You have a long way go. so please focus more on studies for now and leave the marriage thing for adult who are ready to make that commitment. To be together, both of you could best of friends for now. To think of marriage at 16, you are gambling with broken heart. Remember the saying "what will be, will be"

I would wait. You are both so young why rush it. You need to live together and see if you can get along. marriage is not easy. I was married for 10 years and my husband just passed away 2 years ago. We had alot of good times and bad times. Life is not easy.

16 yrs. old is very young to get married even if you are both saying after high school and still go to college, but it never works that way. You get married and never go to school, don't know why that is, but that is what usually happens when your young.
If you both love each other, then you will marry each other after both finish with college. What is the rush???
