Quite often people write questions or answers on here stating their belief in a 9/11 conspiracy. Most often, that conspiracy has the government orchestrating the attack, intentionally killing thousands of innocent Americans. The whole point of the conspiracy, it is claimed, is to start a war so that civil liberties can be destroyed, the world can be conquered, and the government/corporations can plunder the Earth.

To those who believe these conspiracy theories: Why haven't you taken up arms against the government? Or at least started engaging in some serious, active civil disobedience?

If I believed the government had done something like that, I would start or join a revolutionary group, and get to work immediately. I wouldn't waste my time with bickering on other partisan issues or one-upsmanship on political websites. Destroying the evil, neo-fascist regime would be my top priority. I think even most pacifists would agree.

So why haven't you done the same? Or HAVE you?

Keep in mind folks, I DON'T believe the conspiracies. I'm trying to understand those that do.

Also, you don't have to engage in violent revolution. You could be using civil disobedience to attract attention to your cause and to impede the efforts of the evil government. Lay down in front of the entrance to military bases, go on a hunger strike for the truth, stuff like that.

How do you know some folks aren't already in the planning stages? It's hardly something one would advertise, you know.

No I don't believe our own government staged it... Every time there is a catastrophe in the USA its a conspiracy?... C'mon now.
The only thing the Government did was piss off some terrorists in the mid-east so they tried to show the US they could hurt us. It wasn't even a genius plan... I mean they did it with box cutters. The hardest part was getting suicide pilots to fly.

I was amazed at how patriotic the country became and the great relief efforts that everyone joined in on. We really came together as a nation when such a horrific thing happened.

The question of violent revolution is ridiculous. You can’t fight fire with fire. Rebellion/civil war, or any self-harming conflict of the USA would be exactly what the terrorists want. We took the high road and showed them we would not fear such attacks… if anything we are now a stronger nation both in homeland security and in our love of the USA.

No one revolts anymore, the days of protest are over, everyone is to into themselves to care what is happening. Somewhere in the 90's North Americans had their spine removed, we can't stand for anything because we've become spinless money grubbing
h o r e s.
911 wan't staged, but it was known about, America just thought it was a bluff so the did nothing.
Besides, their was new weapons to test and new chemicals to release on their own people while they slept (ever see a smoke trail in the sky that don't disapear? that aint airplane smoke).
People think they have no power in this world, we have all the power! Stop buying their **** and the have to close shop.

becuase it would be dumb. We'd easily be labeled terrorist and herded into some FEMA concentration camp.

My personal opinion about how you fight tyranny/ the gummint/ the illuminati....is YOU DON'T

That's their game WAR, DESTRUCTION, FEAR, and IGNORANCE

In order to deal with all the bad things OUT THERE in the WORLD. You need to first deal with the bad things WITHIN YOU.
Why do you think Jesus and other philosophers never mentioned overthrowing gov't and having political rallies. Don't get me wrong i'm not saying to be apolitical.

I'm just saying that the bad things manifested in the world are in part becuase of the dirtiness inside. If we focus on a small level within ourselves and within our own communities, we can be more effective than trying to kill people and become involved the messy and confusing political world

I think they're spreading the word, trying to get others to look at the info and agree with them. I don't think anyone would go as far to take up arms, that'd just be retarded. The revolution will be when the dems take back control. I don't know about the whole conspiracy thing, but if the gov. did have something to do with it, I'd like to know and see them pay..

Only NRA members and certain other extremist Republicans believe in a violent overthrow of the government. The rest of us believe in showing people the error of their ways and convincing them to join together to vote out the dishonest power-hungry war-mongering fascists.

Because people are inherently lazy, and would rather make up stories about conspiracy and place blame than actually act on these made up claims. Plus they would actually have to believe their drivel to such a point that they would put their pathetic lives in jeopardy, which is not going to happen.

Not being one of those I can only assume their motive for inaction. They aren't allowed off the funny farm. And they can't take up arms while wearing straight jackets.

It wasn't, but there is good proof that it didn't go as the American people know. There could have been boms in the WTC and the Pentagon could possibley have not been damaged by a plane. But the general priciple of the government starting it is irrational.
