What's wrong with that line? She is trying to let you know that you were on her mind, that she was thinking about you quite a bit, and really likes you. It has nothing to do with being ugly.

maybe she thought that it would be cute if she used a cliche' pick up line on you...since no one uses that one really and the fact that usually its men using lines.. maybe she was trying to be quirky
