well where i live, if you take it to like PetCo or PetSmart, they let you fill this thing out, and you can put on there, like i couldnt keep the cat because i moved, or whatever the reason, and then just put like its a good cat, but we just couldnt keep it anymore, and then also, you can put on there like specifications on what kind of a home it needs to be adopted it, like no kids no other cats, no dogs etc....

Place an ad in the paper. List the cat's finer points like personality - whatever you think is best. If that doesn't work, call some vets and ask if someone has recently lost a cat. That might help you and them. Best wishes.

You try to find a very good home for them. That is your responsibility. Ask friends and relatives first. Then people at work. Make sure they understand how to care for a cat. Your last resort is the no-kill animal shelter. Make sure it's a no-kill. That is the last resort because even though these facilities are good to the animals, it is a sad place for them to be. I know, I volunteered at one and being in a cage is no fun for any animal.

there are plenty of options. you can put an ad in the paper or take him to the animal shelter or to the pound/animal control. just dont dump him off somewhere and hope someone will take him in. it doesn't always work out that way. also ask friends or other family members if they want a cat. good luck!

Ask around if people will adopt it, you can stick up notices at church or at market billboards, you can take the cat in a box to a store parking lot and ask passers-by to adopt it. Maybe even put it on the net. Good luck, hope your cat finds a good home!

Ask around if anyone wants a cat and you can give it away but make sure that you're giving it to good people that could take care of the cat ..
Good luck!!

Find a humane shelter that doesn't put down animals.
Put an add in the supermarket (free)
Put up flyers...
Don't just release it to the wild. It will kill small birds, & probably get hit by a car or have an argument with a racoon & get hurt or killed.

call your local animal shelter, if they say they can't help you , please try putting out flyers at hospitals anywhere they have a bulleton board and advertise you need to place your cat in another home. I wish I could help take the cat but I already have 2 female sister cats who keep me real busy. Whatever you do, please don't shove them outside to fend on his/her own. Good luck.
