Doesn't the body have it's own self-balancing mechanisms so that it would become desensitized to sin itself? And therefore no longer crave sin?

Isn't it usually the Soul that seeks to prolong pleasurable experiences, long after the body no longer finds them pleasurable?

Why do we always blame everything on the body? Isn't it a beautiful work, put here by God? Is not the body divine? Why do we always say the flesh is weak? Isn't it one of the most beautiful things in all creation?

Nothing craves sin. People sin because they ignore the bad consequences of actions while seeking a perceived good. For instance, if a man steals something, he is doing it to achieve the perceived good of possessing the stolen item, or to obtain the perceived good of a thrill experienced when stealing. Our physical bodies are wondrous instruments granted us by God, along with our souls.

In my opinion, people typically blame their physical bodies because it has a historical perception of being further from God and spiritual things than the soul. You can see it commit actions, whereas you cannot see the soul deciding on a wrong course. Also, the body is mortal, like other things of this world. The soul is immortal, and thus designated as being closer to God, and therefore less likely to desire sin.

But the two must work in concert. The body cannot perform any action which the soul does not condone, but the soul is influenced by what is experienced through the body.

Our body has the sin nature in it. It wont be gone until it is dead. The Christian dies daily to the sin nature in the body. The new man in Christ follows after the Holy Spirit in Christ. When God catches the born again spirit filled Christian up to meet Him in the air, the body will go into metamorphose, and change in the twinkling of an eye. The corruptible will put on incorruption.

The church is the body of Christ & is divine. God given pleasures are 7 heavenly. God creates Godly desires in us that are everlasting. God looks at us in this earthly body, & calls us beautiful. That is because the blood of the Lamb covers our sins.

The flesh is weak, when it succumbs to temptation. Temptation is lure to do something against God's purpose (sin).

God has a purpose in His creation. In the image of God, they (Trinity, Father, Word & Holy Spirit) made mankind.

It is the body and the personality that craves sinful pleasure. This comes from ego which is something that we gain only after being on earth.

The soul is clean and pure, craving only harmony, as is the spirit. These are our original selves coming directly from our Creator. Earthly desires come from being so far from our original selves. Once we have begun to live in spirit instead of ego, we have no cravings outside of love.

Maybe it's neither the body or the soul but the spirit in the person that is prone to be moderate or excessive. If everything is kept in moderation than there is no greed or vanity. If our hearts are basically good, than why do we desire so strongly what is bad?

The physique feels actual soreness, the soul feels emotional soreness. as quickly as the human actual physique has died, the soul leaves it to pass and be renewed and refreshed earlier it rather is next incarnation, that's whay no soreness is felt on cremation..... the physique is lifeless and the soul has left it.

Sorry, I don't believe in sin. What is the body without the soul but a corpse?

The soul tries to blame all of it on the body, but some of it is the soul's fault too.

Definately the flesh. This is according to the Bible. Our souls are constantly either wanting to stay with God or wanting us to find our way to Him.
