Any recommendations or experiences with a good answering machine with combination of clear sound and long record capacity? links to pics or where to buy are also appreciated.

Brand and model number are helpful too. Apparently yahoo answerers have quite a few volunteer messeges for my future machine lol

I use a voice mail box. It is way better than any answering machine I have used in the past. Check with your phone service provider to see if they offer it. I get my phone service through my Internet connection. It's way cheaper and has just about every feature I can think of.

I bought an AT&T digital at Sears for a friend for $20. I liked it so much that I bought another one for myself. Another digital machine that I bought over 15 years ago is still in use. As long as they don't use tape, they should work well and last nearly forever.
