Wow, you should really put a stop to that. Having sex with cousins is not a good idea. Sounds really hard, actually, but put a stop to it, if you can. If it doesn't stop, you need to bring in more help, even the authorities.

You say with her "older" cousin. How old? 15? Sounds like you wish it appeared that she was coerced. If she was doing it happily she wasn't coerced and she has done it before. That is a tough thing to know about your 14 year old daughter. I'm sorry.
I have older boy cousins. 2 of them almost raped me when I was 12. They were 15. I think at 15 it doesn't matter where an erection gets put as long as it gets put. Lets hope the teenagers are completely embarrassed about this and not thinking they are in love and want to marry. If you are siblings with his parents you need to talk and not let those 2 out of your sight when together.
But...what would you do if it was just a guy ..no relation? Make sure she is on the pill. Take her to have an STD test. Oh Yea. I would make a huge deal about it. HIV doesn't have a face. It likes everybody. HPV is bad too. Hopefully the humiliation of it all would be lesson enough. good luck. m

I can't believe how many stupid answers you got and none are helpful.

Talk to her about the possible consequences of having sex with her cousin and explain to her that we don't do things like that.

Put her on birth control and whether or not she should be having sex, she already has and you can't control that, its bound to happen just about anywhere. With who? Thats a different story. If shes having sex, thats fine but it needs to be with someone else other than relatives. It's never okay to have sex when you're that young, but what can you realistically do about it? I wish I knew!

If you haven't already done so, talk to your brother or sister about their kids behavior, if he's older than her, he should know better.

I understand what you're going through I think the toughest job you will ever have as a woman and an adult, is being a mother and you just hope and pray that your babies will take the right direction. There is nothing wrong with your parenting. You're here worried about your kid, to me that is a "GOOD mother"!

Don't allow her to be with this cousin unless supervised by an adult! Let her know this is considered incest and if she were to get pregnant by him, their babies have a good chance of being born with mental retardation, missing fingers or toes, and various other birth defects. Not only that, she's not even old enough to be able to take care of a baby, and momma sure as hell isn't gonna do it. Tell her all the repurcusions of having a child at such an early age, spend more time with her, talk to her about STD's. There's so much more you can be doing as a mother to keep her from such activity.

Do you if she was forced to? and do you know if they're really in love? I doubt at 14 she's in love and how old is the cousin? I think it's aleagal to av sex under the age of 16, she should be punished I think, and you need to find out if she used protection 'cause she may be pregnant. I'm sorry something like this has happened to you. If you wanna chat online my e-mail is: charlie_n_meg@yahoo.co.uk add that to ur messenger addressbook.I know i'm 15 but my mum never shuts up about getin 'knocked up' e.c.t so I'm gd for advice if you need to talk :)

Hmmmmm, you say you have a 14 year old daughter, yet in another question you've asked, you're talking about being a student? Are you sure you're not the 14 year old daughter???

OK, assuming you are legit, and this is a legit question, I'd say if the cousin is more than 24 months older than your daughter, you could have him charged with statutory rape. Even if your daughter "claims" it was consentual, I would seriously consider it. This cannot be allowed, it's incest if it's a first cousin. Contact child protective services in your area at once, and if you don't, someone else may, and then your daughter may be removed from your home and care. Please get her the help she needs.

Obviously, you need to have a talk with your daughter openly and honest about sex and the importance of waiting and ramifications of having relations with a relative. Also you need to take her for a physical to make sure that she is not pregnant or have any STDs. And then slap the mess out of the older cousin because he should no better and don't permit him back at house. He's no longer welcome. Depending on how old he is you can press charges against him if you want to go that far. Good luck.

hum...need to teach her a lesson. First off embarrassment. Have her checked out by a docotor and given a pregancy test. Second you need to talk to her about having sex, the results, diseases, pregancies and what will happen if those happen. Lay it down very thick so she wont easily forget. Also tell her about what will happen if she did get pregant from her cousin...what inbreeding causes. Also put her on a curfew, and set some ground rules. Talk about safe sex also. And that shes not allowed to have sex till shes an adult (age 18)or you will put them in jail. Then do the same to the cousin. Make sure he knows to.

we had a similar situation with my best friend. He had sex with my 14 year old daughter. She admitted it. We decided not to prosecute because it would serve no useful purpose except, of course possibly put him away for several years. We took my daughter to a psychologist for a few sessions but it was probably a waste of time and money. I had a strong talk with her but I am not sure that it helped. She is going back to visit her mother next week and will probably stay with her for good. I have had it! This isn't the first time that I have had serious trouble with her and it appears that I just cannot handle her. She is a spoiled brat who was damaged emotionally by my divorce.

Why the horny little vixen. Call 911. Toss 'em both in juvenile detention until they're adults. Think about it. Boffing her own cousin at 14? Who will she be at her high school prom if she makes it that far? And if this guy's older, he should know better. If he's an adult it's child molestation, might as well get him off the street asap, because they don't change either.

First question: is the cousin older? If so, call the POLICE!!!
If not then both of them need some counseling so that this behavior does not continue. Also, both parents need to sit down and talk to the children and find out why this happened. Be stern! Let them know that this is not o.k. and there will be consequences if they continue.
