The best religion is the one that makes u most comfortable and happy. The one that fills that empty space.

I think all religion is bad -- Jesus didn't start a religion He came to solve a problem.
Christianity is the only way to salvation and is intellectually superior because God requires perfection and no one can satisfy that so He had to satisfy that requirement by coming to earth and becoming a man and doing what we cannot do for ourselves.
Every other religion or philosophy is either selfish or based upon what YOU do. Despite what post-modern society has promoted, it is not about us and our performance because no matter how "good" we think we are we can never be perfect.
Christianity provides a way to make peace with the Creator through the Creator's initiative and not our own. We did not create Christianity or God -- we cannot know anything about God that He does not tell us because He is not human and is invisible and outside space and time and therefore beyond our ability to conceive or comprehend.
Does anyone want to WORK to have peace with their God when there is a Savior who has done all the work for you? I don't, I can't.
And for those who do not believe there is a God -- get honest and look at yourself, look at life, and ask the question: "God are you real, I want to know. If you are real prove it to me in a way I cannot deny and I will follow you." If you can't do that God will not waste time trying to beat you over the head with truth that you will not accept. You have chosen to be closed-minded and there is nothing that can be done to open your mind unless you choose to. But if you choose to, Jesus will be there to reveal Himself to you in ways that you cannot deny that will build your faith to a level that it is unshakable.
Doubt is natural even good because it makes you grow. However, rebelliousness and being so cynical that you will believe nothing other than what you think is just a bad attitude and will always lead to trouble.
What you think doesn't matter. What is real and truthful is what matters. You can believe all day long that the sky is green, but it isn't. Seek truth if you can't seek God and He will atleast have an open door.
Bless you for asking this question and I hope you find THE answer not "an" answer that makes you feel good and doesn't challenge you. No one has it all figured-out -- we are all here to help eachother understand the TRUTH -- and all truth points to God no matter where it is found. However, not all roads lead to salvation or the easiest road from point A to B.

The best religion is the one that preaches love and forgiveness not those that preach TOLERANCE. It is the religion that preaches the stark difference between right and wrong, good and evil and not just legality and illegality. The best religion is the one that CONDEMNS hatred, bigotry, superiority of one skin or hair colour. The best religion is the one that does not subscribe to new age doctrine of Relativism and Evolution. The best religion is the one whose Founder condemns sin but loves the Sinner. The best Religion is Christianity as handed down by Our Lord Jesus Christ. I am not sure about the splinter groups that keep popping up like the Internet pop-ups. I must emphasize that I am not saying that the best people are all those who claim to be Christians.

The best religion around is the religion that suits the needs, wants and answers the questions of the individual. The best religion will be different for everybody.

That the one that suits you, for me that is Asatru. Everyone must follow their own path, and quibbling what religion is waste of energy.
For eons one group would say to another " My religion is better than yours, and that came of was war after war. No religion can claim that title, just like no religion can rightfully claim to be the one true faith. It all depends on the indivual, there is no "one size fits all" religion. We just need to learn to co-exist.

agnostic - (that is if u think its a religion - more so a set of beleifs)
agnostics dont proclaim a fasle truth, and are open minded. but if u want to believe in a specific god, then whatever you think is the best really, your morals or thought processes might co-exist easier under a certain religion then another. its all what you blieve. i just believe there could be some supernatural being out there, but i dont proclaim it as a fact, and i dont have a specific religion

The one that teaches you to love your fellow man and not judge him/her. The one that teaches tolerance. The one that teaches what is in your heart is what matters. The one that doesn't condemn anyone for what they believe. The one that teaches that not only a certain group of people deserve the after life. The one that teaches respect for the old and patience for the young.

I am baptist, christian and I love it, it is a very modern version of Christianity of course everyone is going to come up here and say that their religion is best but there is a difference between other religions and Christianity.
1 forgiveness, you don't have to do any other rituals or anything for forgiveness you just have to ask and God will forgive you no matter what you've done or how many times you've done it.
2 God LOVES you! he cares for you and provides for you, he isn't just standing around waiting for you, he is chasing you begging you to come to him, he wants to spend eternal life with you in heaven.
3 He died for you, you don't die for him! God sent his son, his one and only son to die on the cross for you not for the priest only not for just the rich people for everyone on the earth so that the can all have eternal life
4 Once you have eternal life you can't lose it, it is impossible. Your name is written in blood in the book of life, nothing can erase it once you have Jesus in your heart.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Let's see Man made religion not God there is one God in this life.. One GOD not two nor three, one... And he is about LOVE.. I consider myself a Child of GOD. The name Christianity was given to by man.. Because people follow Jesus Christ.. So there is no best religion.. Just one GOD

hedonism: the seeking of pleasure and the avoidance of pain. it even predates hinduism.
The vast majority of Christians agree in their heart. They are closet Hedonists. They say they are Christians because it gives them immediate acceptance and dreams of heaven. Really they are following the Hedonistic hunt for pleasure. Pleaure pleasure pleasure, always pleasure. That's all that matters to them. In the end Christ will reject them.
I believe Hedonism is the best religion, but at least I am honest about it.
