that as a guy i see that in alot of relationships the guy is like the parent sucking up to the girls and the girl is like a child is some ways also most guys like 95% act totally different around women the thing that i mentioned that pisses me off is why cant the girl in a date be a lil more dependent i mean lets switch its around why dont girls pay for everything why dont they open the door for us pull the seat out suck up to us drive us places ( remeber this is like on first 3 dates)

the guy pays for like everything money get tights and you and the girl cant pay cause then your considered a douche for letting your girl pay for something and we treat are dates like old women opening every door for them pulling the seat out for them and your taking care of them

give me your opinion and if you disagree dont be mean and i know the ultimate end is to try and find love just saying the rules piss me off

because man are supposed to be the dominant one, the one who has the power to make every decision, and women are unique and have to be treated like so.
I don't know why it is that way, but it all ways has.

Hello lztexan,

There are a whole lot of different people in this world. Maybe all the girls act like that in Texas, but not all women are like that (some are). Maybe it's exaggerated in Texas where southern proprieties are required. I don't know.

It sounds like you need to look elsewhere for relationships. Work hard, save your money and build up your career. When you get older, you'll be more the one in demand than the women.

Also, you need to check out the Tom Leykis radio show to learn more about what to do. Find out if this show is broadcast in your area. Here's his web site:

I hope that this helps.

I think I understand the question, but I'm not sure since you just wrote a bunch of words with no sentences or anything. I think that the only people who should care about how your date went, is the two people who went on the date. I have paid for dinner plenty of times. There have been times that I drove, paid for dinner, and opened the door. There shouldn't be his/her job requirement for dating. If these are issues that really bother you, then you need to work on yourself, and how other peoples opinions affect you, or maybe just date different kinds of people. Older women tend to appreciate their independence more.

After 22 years of marriage and now recently separated, I would have to say that I feel special when "that someone" opens the door for me or holds out the chair and pushes it back in. I never had that treatment in my marriage and it felt like something was missing. Some woman expect that treatment and if they don't get it they are mad. I don't know how the dating scene goes now and its a new thing for me, but I am old fashioned but am open to paying for part of the date.
You need to keep looking for that special someone, cause they are out there also looking.

Gosh, if you're having such a hard time on dates why not stop dating then. Either that or find a girl who wants to act like a guy on your dates.
