at one time i thought it was totally un neccessary to learn about history, i mean who cares what happened 100 years ago right? but ive learned that it is important, i mean it tells us why people act the way they do and what caused it. learning history teaches us what we should and should not do by seeing other peoples' mistakes and accomplishments. i am taking a history class right now and it has given me a whole new aspect on the world and the things that are happening today.

Americans don't know history... their own... or anyone elses'.. that's why Americans keep making the same stupid mystakes, over and over and over.

Since Americans don't know history and they don't have a history that goes back more than a couple of hundred years... it's easy to see why America has been at war for 18 years for every year it has been at peace... SINCE IT'S FOUNDING.
