Pick the bay leaves and place on a paper plate or between two paper towels and microwave them just until all the moisture has dried out. Be careful no to burn them. Seal them loosely packed in a glass jar and store in your cupboard and add these dried leaves to various dishes that call for bay leaves in the recipe.

Just clean it well. No need to dry it out.
Be careful though, ONLY Laurel Bay leafs are edible. Most other Bay leafs are poisonous.

After picking the leaves. They need to be dried. Pop them in a brown paper bag. Seal it, and pop it into your airing cupboard. Check after a few days. They will go crispy. Once at that stage, store them in airtight jars, and use as and when required.

You lucky thing - you can use them fresh all year round. You can also dry them to give to friends by cutting twigs, tying them with string and hanging them in your kitchen. Either remove the dried leaves and bag or tie twigs and leaves into bunches

Nothing at all, just pick them as you need them.
You can dry them if you want but can't see the point as they are evergreen.
P.S. you might want to wash them first (bird poo!!!)
